UX Designer - accessibility review (Virginia Beach, VA)

Ironwood Oak Health Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in electronic records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
