UX Designer - accessibility review (Toledo, OH)

Foxglove Amber Medical designs and makes medical devices in Toledo. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in complaint handling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
