UX Designer - accessibility review (Toledo, OH)

Rivermark Maple Financial is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 851 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in loan applications. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
