UX Designer - accessibility review (Toledo, OH)

Greenridge Mill Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Toledo working with agencies and riders, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in fare systems. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
