UX Designer - accessibility review (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Wilder Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 173 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in meal programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
