UX Designer - accessibility review (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Timber Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in customer complaints. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
