UX Designer - accessibility review (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Redstone Cobalt Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
