UX Designer - accessibility review (St. Louis, MO)

Greenridge Lakeside Arts Center · St. Louis, MO · part time

Greenridge Lakeside Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 142 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in volunteer programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
