UX Designer - accessibility review (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Nest Markets and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
