UX Designer - accessibility review (Spokane, WA)

Nova Maple Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Spokane. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in classroom supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
