UX Designer - accessibility review (Spokane, WA)

Harborlight Granite Community Partners runs community programmes across Spokane. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 474 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
