UX Designer - accessibility review (Spokane, WA)

Redstone Rook Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for benefits enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in benefits enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
