UX Designer - accessibility review (Spokane, WA)

Bright Cobalt Early Learning Group runs childcare centres in Spokane caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 199 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
