UX Designer - accessibility review (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Juniper Health and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
