UX Designer - accessibility review (San Jose, CA)

Lumen Amber Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from San Jose, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 284 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in account servicing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
