UX Designer - accessibility review (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Field Pharma is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for quality documentation, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 97 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around quality documentation that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in quality documentation. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
