UX Designer - accessibility review (San Jose, CA)

Bluepeak Amber Medical Partners is a San Jose company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
