UX Designer - accessibility review (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Rowan Health Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around patient scheduling that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
