UX Designer - accessibility review (San Jose, CA)

Nova Amber Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests.
