UX Designer - accessibility review (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Ivory Transit Planning helps transport agencies around San Jose design routes and schedules. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around ridership counts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in ridership counts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
