UX Designer - accessibility review (San Diego, CA)

Redstone Oak Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in San Diego serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around branch operations that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in branch operations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
