UX Designer - accessibility review (San Diego, CA)

Redstone Oak Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around San Diego, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
