UX Designer - accessibility review (San Diego, CA)

Foxglove Stone Arts Center is a cultural organisation in San Diego presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in school partnerships. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
