UX Designer - accessibility review (San Antonio, TX)

Stonegate Haven Early Learning is an early-learning provider in San Antonio. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in licensing records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
