UX Designer - accessibility review (Sacramento, CA)

Bright Willow Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Sacramento. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in regulatory submissions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
