UX Designer - accessibility review (Sacramento, CA)

Highbridge Basin Health Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 68 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
