UX Designer - accessibility review (Sacramento, CA)

Nova Quill Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Sacramento serving households and small businesses, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 54 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in account openings. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
