UX Designer - accessibility review (Reno, NV)

Highbridge River Markets is a Reno retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in shrink and waste. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
