UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Harborlight Bridge Arts Center is an arts centre in San Jose with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in school partnerships. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
