UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Ironwood Pine Early Learning · Remote · full time

Ironwood Pine Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in licensing records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
