UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Ironwood Loom Medical Group · Remote · full time

Ironwood Loom Medical Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for training materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in training materials. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
