UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Quill Banking Services Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around branch operations that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in branch operations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
