UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Cedar Stone Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Miami, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
