UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Ironwood Amber Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Cincinnati, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Design for tasks around clinical evaluations that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in clinical evaluations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • We reply to every applicant.
