UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Summit Ridge Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Columbus. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in claims. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
