Highbridge Fern Transit Planning · Remote · contract

Highbridge Fern Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around St. Louis. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around ridership counts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ridership counts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
