UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Ironwood Basin Health · Remote · contract

Ironwood Basin Health is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around referrals that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in referrals. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
