UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Amberfield Umber Health Partners runs clinics and patient services around Atlanta, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around patient scheduling that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in patient scheduling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
