UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Lumen Sable Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Baltimore, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in production lots. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
