UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Summit Amber Early Learning · Remote · part time

Summit Amber Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
