UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Loom Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
