UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Junction Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in underwriting files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
