UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)
Cedar Nest Community Partners Group · Remote · full time
Cedar Nest Community Partners Group is a Birmingham charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review.
You would join a small organisation of about 27 people, working mostly from home.
What you will do
• Work with developers so designs ship as intended.
• Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people.
• Maintain a small design system of reusable components.
• Audit screens for accessibility and readability.
• Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure.
What we are looking for
• A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens.
• Two or more years of UX or product design experience.
• Comfort with Figma or a similar tool.
• Care for plain language and accessibility.
Nice to have
• Background in donor records.
• Experience running usability tests.
Working arrangement
• Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule.
• Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham.
• We reply to every applicant.
