UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Nova Loom Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Fresno. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in premium billing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
