UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Silverline Timber Early Learning · Remote · contract

Silverline Timber Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Denver, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in licensing records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
