UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Ironwood Meadow Learning Group · Remote · full time

Ironwood Meadow Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
