UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Summit Lakeside Health Group is a healthcare provider in Providence with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in electronic records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
