UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Clearpath Cobalt Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Charleston, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
