UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Redstone Willow Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Miami area. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
