UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Amberfield Glen Health Partners provides primary and specialty care in Nashville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in insurance authorisations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
